As the title suggests, the movie delivers exactly what you’d expect from that premise: it’s corny, cheesy, and somewhat laughable.Finding this film proved to be quite a challenge; I eventually managed to track it down on YouTube. Unfortunately, the movie suffers from poor writing and feels like a misguided attempt by the director to craft a quintessential 90s flick. While many films from that era have a certain charm—even the cheesy ones that manage to entertain and evoke a sense of nostalgia—this one simply doesn’t hit the mark.I can’t say I would want to watch "Freaked” again. To me, it came off as utterly ridiculous and nonsensical. However, I can see how younger audiences, particularly children or those in their early twenties, might find it amusing and entertaining. It’s not my preference, but the film does embody that classic 90s spirit filled with goofy antics that aim to keep viewers engaged and laughing. In that sense, it fulfilled its purpose for its time, but it hasn’t aged gracefully, leaving little impact for anyone who might stumble upon it today.If you’re in the mood for something humorous, you might give this film a try. Just be prepared to feel a bit dazed and foolish afterward, as its absurdity teeters on the edge of complete silliness. Watched this on the YouTube Creature Features channel recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was with several laugh-out-loud moments. And I don't usually laugh out-loud! I don't know how I've never heard of this film before, but now that I've given up on modern Hollywood, finding quirky gems like this to watch is golden.If you like absurdist humour, good 80s-90s practical creature effects and a healthy serving of cheese, this movie is for you. It is the movie i was missing in my early teen years Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Hellonearth I watched this movie this weekend, and I thought it would just be cheesy, cause y'know, it's a 90s film and just looking at the poster I thought it would be cheesy, no offence, But it actually matched my sense of humour and I couldn't stop laughing most of the movie because of the random events that Just, Happen. The characters are amazing and original too, and it may have a weak plot and the plots just there for jokes, but it's still an amazing movie, in my eyes though, probably not in most critics eyes cause critics are a^^holes. But they probably didn't even watch it. lol.
